The Soch is a student chapter of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Mumbai which aims at overall social reformation of the society. As the saying goes- "children are like white cement, anything that falls on them makes an impression."- we believe strongly in the imbibing the social and moral responsibilities of an individual in the academic stages itself,so as to contribute to the making of the future citizens.Having undertaken various activities, The SOCH has been exponentially growing since its inception. With an overwhelming response from the students and the teaching and non-teaching staff alike, SOCH promises to definitely continue to thrive along with our society as a whole. .

Vision

  • To ensure inclusive growth of all the members of our society through the social forum which aims to influence human values positively and uplift the unprivileged sections of our society.

Mission

  • To involve students and teachers on a common platform for diverse discussions and events.
  • To witness the daily challenges faced by the underprivileged section by actually visiting them.
  • To involve in positive social revolutions and initiatives for constructive reforms in society.
  • To understand and connect with the rural and remote part of India for development of core India.
  • To collaborate with different institutes and organisation for inclusive revolt and initiatives.
  • To inspire budding engineers to find solutions to social and environmental problems.
  • To ensure absolute support to the organisations and NGOs selflessly working to create a positive change.
